Encountering the Fullness
of
The Holy Spirit
AmarilloTexas

As the physically thirsty and hungry are lured by food and drink, attendees of Encountering the Fullness of the Holy Spirit School were captivated, drawn, and lured to Amarillo for the teaching on the Holy Spirit by Keith Miller and StandFirm World Ministries.

Keith wasted no time in delving into scripture to bring revelation of the Holy Spirit. The teaching followed Keith's concise manual that revealed the person of the Holy Spirit: His activation, His function and His purpose in our lives. The study of the Holy Sprit is often neglected from today's pulpits. Not that He is not referred to, as He is when salvation is preached. He is referred to coming into us, setting up abode and being our guide as we journey through life to fulfill our destinies. The Holy Spirit is referred to as the Spirit of God (He is), and our comforter (He is), and pointing the way to Jesus Christ (He does). We know about the fruit of the Spirit, the gifts of the Spirit, and the Baptism of the Spirit. But do we know Him? Intimately and personally? We have been taught to know what He does rather than who He is. Keith sought to introduce us to theperson of the Holy Spirit. He taught us by revelation, scripture, anointed teaching, and sharing his experiences of visitations, encounters and throne room experiences with the Most High God.

Approximately 120 people gathered in AmarilloTexas for the school. The teaching sessions were held at More church. Each of the 13 sessions was unique in itself. In some sessions, the boldness and fire of God erupted. In others, the Holiness of His presence reduced us to tears and reverence. The manual made following Keith's teaching easy. The ample (and required use) of the Bible pointed to references and solidified the teaching.

Like a stamp of approval on the teaching, the Holy Spirit settled in the sanctuary with a heavy blanket of anointing and peace the very first session. He mightily spoke through Keith with fire and boldness and authority. As people rushed to the alter for impartation of the anointing that Keith carried, the Holy Spirit filled each in a special way personally selected for that person. It was an awesome way to begin a school!

From the very beginning session, Keith spoke a word for the function of the school. The word was Knowing. The first session cultivated this concept. Knowing the Holy Spirit means knowing God. In knowing the Lord, we can be in relationship with Him and to know Him as a friend knows a friend. Throughout the sessions, Keith came back to this frequently.  By the last session, everyone had a firm foundation and was rooted in the revelation.

Worship was actually led by the Holy Spirit through men of God who moved in the worship anointing. Steve Mitchell, Kevin Prosch, and Justin Miller led under such an anointing that the habitation of the Holy Spirit descended on all. The deep presence of God was evident. When the Holy Spirit is allowed freedom, things happen in the atmosphere.

Keith emphasized something so important during the meetings.  He spoke of it again and again to instill it in our souls. The anointing of God is different then the presence of God. He encouraged us again and again to strive for the presence. He encouraged us never to take any encounter with God for granted but to receive it, water it and strengthen it with His word.

Acts 3:19:

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord

Restoration comes with revelation. Keith was able to hammer home the teaching with revelation, pertinent scripture, and visitations he has had. Keith has a gift for bringing humor to those experiences!

The base line scriptures were Isaiah 11:2:

The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him,

The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,

The Spirit of counsel and might,

The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.

and Revelation 4:5:

And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of firewere burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

These scriptures were given to Keith in a throne room visitation and were imprinted in our minds and our heart. These important scriptures were reviewed, studied, analyzed and absorbed for greater understanding of the fullness of the Holy Spirit.

As the last day of the school arrived, expectation soared for the moving of the Holy Spirit. Yes, He had been evident every day and in different ways but somehow we knew He was going to reveal a greater understanding of His person and then seal in within our inner man. We expected the outpouring and He exceeded our expectation. The taste of the joy, love, exuberance, holiness and peace we had received was wonderful, awesome and delectable. And yet, we knew there is more. There is always more.

As you read the following testimonies, know that the Holy Spirit moved on each one in a unique way. While one received confirmation, another received revelation. Some stood for the fire, deliverance, healing or a touch from God. God knows what we need.

Some editing was done for spacing, clarification and content.

We went to the conference in Dallas last November. We felt the anointing so strong. We went to lunch and talked about the 7 functions of the Holy Spirit and that is where the Lord is speaking to my friend and I about! There is lots of confirmation. We feel this school is the one to impart all the stuff we've been wanting to hear. We were weeping because we felt the Lord dumping all the wells on us! All the teaching is just stirring our inner man. It's lessons how God is filling us.

I thought I was hungry when I came here, but now I can tell I'm starving! Starving for the Word. Starving for the anointing! And steadily hungry. It is unbearable, the teaching and how the Holy Spirit can move in your life, and how it can make a difference in your life and also in your church! I think we should not only be a hearer of the Word, but a doer of the Word! And that starts with the Hunger! Some of this teaching I have heard in church but a lot of it is new and the steady anointing and the rivers of water. It is really a blessing to be here.

The school has given me a lot of confirmation but still at the same time, it has given me a stirring in my spirit. I'm seeing the power of the Holy Spirit and it is overtaking everybody. So we can go out there and have the spiritual offspring and God will use us to make disciples to glorify His Holy name. There is such a need for the Holy Spirit because we can't do anything without the Holy Spirit! The Holy Spirit is the power! He is the fire! The rushing wind! What I'm learning, the more we get in tune, the more we know God. We want to worship Him, we want to cherish Him. We want to love on the Holy Spirit because He's at the throne! We want those living waters flowing from the throne, the constant flow. I am not loving the Holy Spirit because of the power but because of who He is. I'm excited. This is a start. The Lord is going to use Keith in a greater way and it is so amazing! It is my second time to coming to one of these and I've seen Keith. It is so important for the impartation. I just want more, more, more!
