"The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace." Psalm 29:11

Hello and many blessings to you!

This is a powerful time of increase, revelation, and understanding from the Father through our precious Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit. I am writing this  because the Father has put it on my heart to share with you the Shalom of the Lord. I have complete faith and trust in Him to bring an activation and increase of the things He is revealing. While I won’t be going into great detail in this note on the depths of the Shalom of the Lord, I am asking the precious Father to release to you a level of greater revelation and understanding so that you may see a fuller manifestation of the Shalom of the Lord empowering and impacting your lives in a mighty way.

The Shalom of the Lord is so multi-leveled in its scope and application to our lives. It can be said of the Shalom that when it is established and activated, it releases various fruits of its workings. What do I mean? We all know that the word Shalom means peace.  “Jehovah Shalom- The Lord is Peace.”(Judges 6:24). What follows is an activation of this revelation. This impartation has been given to us to by the Lord Jesus when He said, “My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.”(John 14:27). His words, “The Lord is Peace”, are life, and in that revelation, the seeds of those words bloom with the fruit of that seed. We can say that light, or revelation, is what begins the blooming of the fruit of that seed. As we come to know the Shalom of the Lord that He is the Lord of Peace, we begin to rightly apply this truth to our lives and see the fruit of this truth becoming a reality in our lives.

First, we have peace with God through the righteousness of Christ which is the beginning of Shalom in our lives. His righteousness brings peace. Peace is a sense of well-being in the heart which comes from knowing that we are in right standing with the Father through the blood of Christ. Because of that peace, we can live in constant fellowship with the Father. (Ephesians 2:13-18). It is the Shalom of God to know our names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Secondly, in the same thread of revelation, we can say that Shalom is having peace of heart and mind. (Philippians 4:7). When we know we can trust Him, we say things like, “I have peace from the Lord in this decision,”or “The Lord has given me great peace in this matter.”This all comes from the revelation of the Peace of the Lord. We should have great boldness withfaith as we pray for others to know His peace as well.

Peace, however, is just a small portion of the meaning, or deeper revelation, of Shalom. Limited understanding does not limit an absolute truth, but it does limit its application in our lives. Absolute truth from the Lord is available but not always applied. (1Cor. 2:12-14 Amp.). As we begin to study a truth in the Bible, the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation in the knowledge of Him opens up greater understanding that powerfully impacts the way we think and perceive. This, in turn, changes the way that we live. (Ephesians 1:17-19). When the Holy Spirit breathes on the Shalom of the Lord, a greater unfolding of its truth dramatically affects our lives.

A third aspect of Shalom is the breaking of the power of chaos and disorder that is swirling around in the unseen realm. Everywhere Jesus went, the people were drawn to Him. The Shalom of the Lord is like a magnet to the masses of humanity who are living in the chaos and disorder of the natural world around them. (Acts 10:36, Luke 1:79,). This, still, is not the complete revelation.

The Shalom of the Lord operates even further by replacing chaos and disorder with His order and peace.  When we understand this, we can decree with authority that the Shalom of the Lord breaks confusion, chaos, and disorder, and that it also replaces those things with His peace and order.

Jesus taught us this when He said, "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." (John 10:10 ). The Lord didn't expose the thief just to break the power of the thief, but to establish His purpose in setting us free to live abundantly. We can stay free as we live out of that truth. Also, when Jesus found the disciples in the upper room, He declared "Peace to you!”They were about to receive a powerful treasure from the Lord, but He first dealt with the chaos of the moment so they could fully enjoy the blessings! (John 20:19-21). I will say again: the greater we understand a truth, the more we will see the evidence of that truth being played out in our lives.

Here is short list of the meanings of Shalom. As you read it, may the anointing bring the activation and effects of each one of these things into your lives, families, and to all of those around you!

Shalom = Completeness, wholeness, peace, health, welfare, safety, soundness, tranquility, prosperity, fullness, rest, harmony, the absence of agitation or discord, a state of calm without anxiety or stress.

Many Blessings, and the Shalom of the Lord be to you!

“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you;  the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.”Numbers 6:24-26
