Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is counted as a forest. Then justice will dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remains in the fruitful field. The work of righteousness will be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.—Isaiah 32:15
A familiar feeling hit me as I walked through the little sanctuary where we had finished painting, putting down carpet, and installing the pews we had purchased. I felt a stirring and a sense of excitement mixed with uncertainty. Janet, the boys, and I had just moved back to Amarillo to start this little church. I was still doing electrical work, driving back and forth, but after many months of coming to Amarillo to minister to the homeless, we knew we were to move here and start the church. I loved that Janet and the boys were excited about our little church. We all worked together to get ready for our first Sunday service. As I walked through that sanctuary, the feeling hit me again, and I began praying. I will never forget that moment. Suddenly, I broke out in a deep flow of prayer. The above quote from Isaiah 32:15 was hanging in the hallway from my office to the sanctuary. It had a picture of water being poured out and the words “Until the Spirit is Poured Out from on High.”
I began asking the Lord to fulfill that verse. Over and over, I prayed. Then, suddenly, this bursting forth took place, and I started praying deeply and in a profound way. That was an amazing day. I had no idea what would happen in the days ahead, but I knew I was going after that move of God. It’s been twenty-six years this month since that moment took place. I am reminded of this experience because, just a few days ago, the Lord gave me this passage of scripture and told me to share it with you.
It’s been amazing what the Lord has done over the years through our lives and the ministry vehicle of Stand Firm World Ministries. With the grace and anointing from the Lord and partners like you, we have ministered to hundreds of thousands of people all over the world.
I believe the Lord asked me to share this passage of scripture with you because of its significance in our coming days. This passage is an excellent picture of what takes place when the Lord brings a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit, whether it is for one person, a group of people, a community, a region, or a nation. Janet, the SFWM team, and I have high expectation for the coming days. As we embrace the now and the now word the Lord is giving us, we know we will see even greater multiplication of the working of the Lord in the days ahead.
I want to share with you a threefold encounter I had with God. The first part was a specific word from Him to me about covenant (redemption) and the days ahead. The second part was my time during Rosh Hashanah, when I was actually on a mountain and met with the Lord. The Lord met with me precisely at 4 AM. During this encounter, I received incredible downloads of fresh revelation and a profound welcome from the Lord. This was such an incredible time in the Lord that I still feel the effects of the encounter whenever I mention it. It has and will have a significant impact on our ministry in the days ahead. I will share more about this in the coming days.
Then the third part of the encounter happened a few days later as I spent time in the presence of the Lord during Yom Kippur. At precisely 4:44 AM, God’s presence filled my house, and deep levels of revelation were released to me in waves of glory. Once again, the significance of the exact time and what the Lord released was both profound and powerful.
The realm of God’s glory is filled with grace and power. In the realm of His glory dwells unlimited power and unlimited possibilities. The supernatural realm of His glory is filled with:
Supernatural grace and favor
Supernatural turnaround in our lives and business
All of this is connected to covenant. We have so much to learn and see activated by faith in wisdom through the understanding of our redemption blessings.
As a ministry, we are a vehicle the Lord is using in preaching, teaching, equipping, and empowering the body of Christ. We make the preaching of the cross—the victory of the Lord Jesus Christ—the core message of Stand Firm World Ministries. The cross is the core message of the gospel, the atonement of the blood of Jesus, or the blessing of the new covenant. The Lord will have for Himself on the earth a body that fully expresses His glory and victory.
In this, we know the Holy Spirit wants us to fully comprehend and understand what He has lavishly poured out for us in the victory of the Cross. This is what I’m about. It is just as Jesus says in Luke 4:18, where He quotes Isaiah 61:1-4. The fruit of the new covenant is lives forever changed, the desolations of generations restored, and ruined cities rebuilt one life at a time as people become trees of righteousness planted by the Lord. Consider this in the light of Isaiah 32:15.
Biblical justice starts at the cross and accelerates from there. The effects of righteousness are His peace, joy, and true freedom. As ambassadors for Christ on the earth, by the power of the Holy Spirit, we want to see Jesus glorified and His banner established across the nation. In this way, our Father will be made known and the earth will be filled with the knowledge of His Glory and His realm.
We have been blessed with the precious gift of partners like you who have been alongside us as we have seen hundreds of thousands of people impacted through this ministry. We have a fresh supernatural expectation from the Lord for a holy boldness for greater exploits in the coming years. Of course, increase in prophetic assignments or greater exploits is not determined by natural numbers, but by obedience to the instruction of the Lord.
I believe it is going to be a mighty year in the majestic realm of God’s glory! As ministers of the new covenant, we want to make known the core message of the covenant with supernatural glory and power so that people will encounter the presence of the Lord.
Love and blessings,
Keith & Janet
